- Our Cooroy, Caloundra and Brisbane branch locations will remain closed Friday 7 March, while our Gympie branch will close at 12pm.
- We have taken the following measures to support our customers:
- If you’re affected by the floods and need to make a claim on your Auswide Bank Home/Landlord/Car Insurance policy provided by Allianz, visit com.au/claims
- Affected loan customers may be eligible to defer repayments on their Auswide Bank home loan, business loan, personal loan or credit card.
- Affected term deposit customers needing access to their funds may qualify for hardship and do so without providing the required 30 days notice of early withdrawal.
- Customer wishing to purchase household items and white goods may be eligible for a discounted interest rate and waiver of the establishment fee on an Auswide Bank personal loan.

As Tropical Cyclone Alfred approaches, we have made the decision to close the following branches tomorrow, Thursday March 6:
- Cooroy
- Caloundra
- Brisbane
Our Brisbane Corporate office located at 324 Queen Street will also be closed, and we will be monitoring our other branches closely to ensure the safety of staff.
If you require any banking assistance during this time and are not able to access your local branch, alternative ways to bank include Internet Banking, Mobile App or contacting our Customer Care team on 1300 138 831 (Monday to Friday - 8am to 6pm AEST).

With Cyclone Alfred’s impact still uncertain, we want to reassure our customers and local communities that we are closely following advice from the Queensland Government and Queensland Emergency Services.
At this stage, all Auswide Bank branches will be open tomorrow. However, as the cyclone moves closer to the Queensland coast - expected to make landfall between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast on Thursday or Friday - this may change.
We are monitoring the situation closely and will assess branch operations daily, prioritising the safety of our staff and customers. If any branches need to close due to severe weather, we will advise via our Facebook page and through updates made to this article.
